India met Pakistan on the sidelines of the NAM summit at Sharm el-Sheikh, and there is a controversy both over who conceded what and who conceded more. Has India given too much by agreeing to delink terror and talks? Did the US press India to give more wiggle room to Pakistan in the India-Pak joint statement issued after talks between prime ministers Manmohan Singh and Yousuf Raza Gilani?

Or, conversely, was it actually a crucial Pakistani concession — a written admission by Pakistan for the first time handed over to India, that the Lashkar-e-Toiba carried out the Mumbai 26/11 attacks — which prompted India to be more accommodating with its neighbour at Sharm el-Sheikh?
